Why do a Norman/Gobby Fanlisting?

You're pathetically predictable! Like a moth to the flame!

It was that particular line that I remember from when I first saw Spider-Man on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I know, perhaps not the best line but it's the one I remember and I spent the rest of the afternoon thinking about doing up a website about the speaker of the line, the Green Goblin.

Ok, I'm not the biggest comic fan, but I do happen to be a huge fan of Willem Dafoe, who I've had a shameless crush on since I was about 14 and I was damned if I wasn't going to go and see him in action as Norman/Gobby.

Like I thought he would, Dafoe fully kicked arse and as a result, I ended up liking his character. I've always had a thing for psycho-types anyway, so his performance (particularly those awesome scenes where he conversed with himself in the mirror) was definitely one of my favourite things about the film.

Anyway, after the film I walked home, logged onto the internet (as you do) and did a bit of a search for good Spider-Man sites, and more specifically stuff on Norman/Gobby. I found some good sites around and got further inspired to go about doing my own. In the end though, I decided not to do a proper Norman/Gobby site (there are so many Norman fans making up sites anyway who can easily do a better job than me) and decided to do this fanlisting instead, since there wasn't a fanlisting for Norman/Gobby. A fanlisting is basically a site that you can apply to be a recorded fan of something. Whether it's an actor, or your favourite food, or even an appliance!
